I finally managed to track down a good source of apple wood. There are quite a few orchards around MA and NH and found that this landscaping company, Speedseed in Londonderry, NH sells large amounts as they do a lot of trimming in orchards. I think the prices on the website are out of date, as I was able to get 50 lbs for $35. I think I’ll be firing up the smoker tomorrow!
