Using the info in this post I was able to get my cell phone to also serve as a VoIP phone. At this point, when I get within range of my home wifi network, the cell phone registers with the server. Once the phone is registered, any calls to our ‘home’ number ring not only our home phones (which are on an IAXy ATA) but also my cell. Also, I can use my cell to place calls from the home number. The next step is to get this working from remote locations and tie in with Gizmo and Grand Central.
TIP for Nokia users: On the N95 (not sure about others) you can type a phone number in, then hit Options and select internet call. This way you can keep cell as the default and internet as an option.
